District Transformation

You’re in it for the students, so are we at the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE).  Our solutions and our approach are what set us apart. We help put your vision, your strategy, policy and evidence-based practice into action by helping your teams and leaders create sustainable cultures that support rigor, relevance, and relationships.  Let’s work together to understand your needs for the future. We’ll develop a customized plan that integrates your resources and work to put your vision into practice.

Rigor & Relevance for Instructional Excellence

The key to improving student performance is a tireless focus on providing rigorous and relevant instruction, and that every level of the education organization must be tightly aligned and carefully coordinated around that singular goal.

Social and Emotional Learning: Relationships for Learning

Relationships for Learning intentionally address SEL through the strategic implementation of research-backed SEL practices in a way that incorporates rigorous and relevant learning.

Rigorous Curriculum Design (RCD)

RCD is a proven model for designing a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum that intentionally aligns standards, instruction, and assessment.

PLC-Powered Data Teams

Powered Data Teams is a collaborative model for implementing data-driven decision-making at the instructional level, providing an effective process for educators to convert their good intentions into good results.

Equity for Excellence

Our goal is to support educators in thinking more deeply about student supports, provide strategies to build awareness around honoring differences, and guide action steps to create a more equitable learning environment.

Digital Leadership & Learning

Our Digital Leadership & Learning solutions are driven by education experts who have walked the walk with technology initiatives and who are prepared to apply their expertise to improve leadership, teaching, and learning in your school or district.

Partnership Spotlight
Jefferson Parish Schools | Social-Emotional Learning

Jefferson Parish Schools (JP Schools) is excited to partner with the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) to enhance and align our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives. JP Schools’ partnership with ICLE will support district leaders in creating a common mission, vision and strategic plan for SEL while keeping in mind the unique culture and needs of each individual school. This will ensure a common definition of SEL that will guide each school in developing a specific plan to support students for success in school and in life.

Through this partnership, we hope to achieve a clear vision for SEL in JP Schools. We hope that this will be both a head and heart driven strategic plan that will support all students and staff in collaboration with families and community partners.

Venola Mason has been a tremendous thought partner for the district in our SEL work. Her experience and knowledge have been invaluable as we develop our short, medium, and long-term goals for SEL. Venola is accessible and willing to engage in the details with our leadership team. The district is appreciative of our partnership with ICLE and Venola and we look forward to the impact this partnership will have on the staff and students in JP Schools.
